THE PERSONAGE
Gabriella, the beautiful model from Ragusa who succeeded in Bollywood

She says: "Through these experiences, both within the school and with my career's first steps in the Mumbai cinema industry, I got roles as model and actress in various commercials and in films, like Yaariyan, for example".

Gabriella Giardina is an actress and model from Ragusa. Twenty-five years old, she has not oriental eyes and her hairs, though long, are not straith. But with her Mediterranean curl hairs she has anyway managed to become a star in Bollywood.
Born in the city of Baroque, she grew up professionally in India following her family; just after her graduation Gabriella has had the courage to believe.
It was thanks to her family moving abroad for business that the promising young lady has developed the ability to easily adapt to different environments.
She studied at Whisling Woods International Institute of Film, Communication & Media Arts, the famous Bollywood international acting school in Mumbai, for a diploma in acting under the direction of Rob Reece.
"Here I had the opportunity to get in touch with the cinema industry - says Gabriella - I love exploring the feeling of being somebody else, fitting in their shoes, understanding their motivations, and most important making the audience live the experiences, the emotions, the lessons, the life of the characters represented.”
Living outside the ‘Bel Paese’ has also given her the opportunity to actively participate to the modern musical "Grease". "Through these experiences, within the school and during my first steps in the film industry in Mumbai, I played roles both as a model and actress, in commercials and in films, such as Yaariyan".

After her graduation in acting, Gabriella was in Mumbai for two more years, working in Bollywood. Now she chose to follow her ambitions and moved to Los Angeles, where she is attending a training program with the Michelle Danner Acting Studio at Edgemar Center for Arts. Does she miss her homeland? "Every day, but I am working to make my dreams grow."
